Coming from a long line of lawyers including a retired Justice of the Supreme Court, David is a skilled advocate and transactional lawyer. He has acted for a variety of clients including but not limited to financial institutions, corporate clients (local and international) and several others.

David has carved a niche for himself as commercial litigator in the areas of banking, maritime law, banking, real estate and property law, insolvency, recoveries and mortgages, employment and criminal law spanning the three tiers of the superior courts of record in Nigeria. As an avid litigator concerned with social justice and expanding the frontiers of the law, David recently broke through the impregnable jurisdictional limitation placed on appeals against judgments of the National Industrial Court which is a Court of first instance and successfully overturned the judgment. He similarly successfully overturned death sentences handed out to two innocent teenagers on allegations of armed robbery as part of the pro bono programme of the Firm.  He was also part of the prosecution team that successfully prosecuted and obtained a jail sentence for a former Chief Executive Officer of a major MDA in the maritime sector.

Prior tothe establishment of the Firm, David cut his teeth under seasoned and reputable leading firms in Nigeria and represented several multinational companies, Industry Regulators and organisations.David graduated from the University of Benin in 2000 and was called to the Bar in 2003. He remains a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
